The Photocoop Access & Studio Rules – Staff Reference

Member Studio Access

  • Weekdays: Members can book up to 8 hours/month

  • Weekends: Members can book up to 4 hours/month

  • Equipment Access: Full use of studio lighting and backdrops during booked hours

  • Additional Hours: Can be purchased at a 50% discounted rate ($25/hour if standard rate is $50/hour)

  • Booking Rules: Must schedule all sessions via the studio calendar

  • Priority: Paid shoots always take priority over member bookings

Member Coaching / Development

  • Members receive Unlimited hours/month of private coaching (adjustable based on program)

  • Sessions scheduled in advance and tracked separately from studio bookings

Member Perks

  • Discounted access to workshops and special events (e.g., 50% off)

  • Invitations to member meetups and critiques

  • Access to Photocoop’s private Discord community

Staff Studio Access

  • Staff earn 8 hours/month of personal studio time by helping around the studio

  • Staff hours do not count against member hours

  • Must schedule in advance on the studio calendar

  • Access includes setup and cleanup time

  • Unlimited coaching hours available for staff

  • Priority: Paid shoots always take priority over staff bookings

  • No payment required; time is earned through contribution

General Rules for Staff

  • All bookings must include setup and cleanup time

  • Track coaching hours separately for members

  • Ensure member usage caps are enforced

  • Staff and members must respect each other’s scheduled time

  • Paid shoots take priority over all other bookings

  • Additional hours for members can be purchased at a 50% discounted rate

Staff Reminders

  • All studio bookings must include setup/cleanup time

  • Members may purchase additional hours at the standard rental rate
