COURSE OVERVIEW
This is the first session in our three-part Lightroom series designed to set photographers up for editing success. In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of file management, organization, and simple editing tools inside Adobe Lightroom. By the end, you’ll feel confident navigating Lightroom, importing/exporting images, and creating a streamlined workflow for future editing.

Hour 1 – Organization & Workflow Basics
Understanding Lightroom vs. Lightroom Classic
Importing files (best practices for file naming & folder structure)
Catalogs explained: how Lightroom stores and references files
Rating & flagging systems (stars, colors, and flags for easy culling)
Hour 2 – Basic Editing & Color Correction
Introduction to the Develop Module
White balance, exposure, contrast, highlights/shadows
Cropping & straightening tools
Using the histogram as a guide
Exporting for web vs. print
